Fred was co-founder of the national Platform for Organic Farmer Markets. The Platform established weekly organic farmer markets in 34 municipalities in the Netherlands (1993 - 2001). The project Transport Management Amsterdam Area was a partnership of the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce, the ROA (responsible for all infrastructural projects in the region) and the Province of North Holland.
